Pros

I would of never been where I am in my career if it was not for starting out at USAA in Information Security after college. Everything I learned has helped immensely, and I had some of the best team members, mentors, and managers that I could of ever asked for.

Cons

Only downside is the fact that it is in San Antonio, if you are wanting a family then that is great, but for young professionals, it is not that great.

Pros

I like my schedule as a security gaurd. I am only required to work 3, 13 hour days a week. Overtime is always available if you want to make some extra every pay period. Also for the last 10 years or so USAA has given their employees a year end bonus which makes up about 18% or so of your annual salary. They have medical, dental, vision, life insurence and other benefits that are quite good. USAA can even pay for your schooling.

Cons

I haven't really run into any notable cons. You are exposed to the elements throughout the year and if you live in texas you know that the summers can be brutal.
