Pros

Excellent benefits package. A genuine opportunity to provide competent customer service for the members who are wonderful to talk to and serve. The pay is great, training is excellent, and we have an excellent support system. You forget how bad things are in the economy when you are getting fantastic bonuses and employee benefits, so don't believe every negative thing you hear from spoiled people who have forgotten how badly most corporations treat their frontline employees. I feel both valued and respected at my job, and I go there knowing that each day I have the opportunity to help make someone's life better by providing solutions. I love it there. Just be very able to adapt to change!

Cons

Not easy to be on the phones all day, so if you don't like the phones this may not be the job for you. Insurance in general can be stressful especially if you're in claims. Just because the pay and benefits sound good doesn't mean this is the place for you.
