Pros

Great opportunity for development and support.

Cons

Kind of manipulative/ misrepresented with the job description and job expectations. We're told it is not a sales position, not commission based, but can be coached to termination for lack of acquisition...

Pros

Benefits, USAA pushes for a culture that is honorable. USAA offers good schedule flexibility to choose from. Work facility and location is good, Free 24 hour gym & affordable food options

Cons

Adjusters do not get autonomy to control their work/prioritize their day. They have EXTREME unrealistic expectations for auto claim handling, their performance metrics are not set-up for an adjuster success. They are severly member service base so much but for the adjuster its not that way. 4 hour voicemail returns, 24 hours (not business hrs) to get a member to talk to you (if they want a call back or dont answer you in 24hrs it counts against you even though you worked the file.), You open more claims naturally that come in filex then close and that counts against you, they have metrics that adjusters shouldnt be measured on (for ex. When a branch submits a rental bill to your claim). Each level is subject to the same exact service level objectices which is very unrealistic for a low complexity adj workload to a complexity adjuster workload. Its impossible to win the way they have their metrics. PTO opportunities are great, but you take a risk taking time off because there is basically NO management system of your work while your away and come back drowning in work because of that.
