Pros

These people know what they are doing! This is a very fast paced environment so you better be ready to jump in with both feet. I always get a lot of support from SME’s. They are available to jump on a call or provide guidance. We work together and collaborate on many projects so it’s important to have a positive attitude. I enjoy the work and the work environment. Management looks at your strengths and sets you up for success.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.

Thank you for the review. We are grateful to have powerful SMEs providing thought leadership and innovation in the regulated space. Please keep attending the functions; your role there helps reinforce the USDM community.

Pros

The ratio of bill to pay rate was decent, for me, anyway, but I've heard colleagues state the opposite. There is fairly frequent contact when on assignment.

Cons

Benefits are horrible. They really don't care about contractors working for them. They care more about the client. After a contract ends, they do not communicate and lie when they finally do. They list jobs on their web site and then don't consider people in their database for the roles. Recruiters don't make money using existing candidates, only new ones.....

Thank you for your review and providing us an opportunity to respond: We are pleased to know that you felt compensated fairly, as well as received frequent check-in from the USDM team while being on an assignment. At USDM, we strive to ensure that our team members are paid competitively for their skillsets, and for the value they provide to the client. We believe that connecting with, and supporting/mentoring our team members contributes to the resource and the client success. We are concerned that you felt the benefits were below your expectations, and would like to further understand what aspect was not satisfactory (cost, quality etc). Effective end of year in 2016, we are contributing more to insurance coverage across the board. We pride ourselves in offering one of the best plans in our industry (best network). Sometimes, the costs do seem a bit higher, but it enables our team members to have access to the best doctors, which makes it all worthwhile. You also shared your thoughts that contractors were not cared for, yet felt you received frequent contact while on an assignment. If we can receive further clarification on your experience, it will help ensure we provide a highly engaging and fulfilling experience for team members. As a growing company that strives to provide top level service to our clients, it is critical that the “resource to client engagement” be a solid match, and that every team member is well qualified and fully utilized in roles where they can be successful. Regarding considering someone for posted positions, our recruiters and account managers are very seasoned and strive to identify internal as well as external candidates that are a best fit for these positions. The recruiters do get paid based on the quality of the talent (internal and external) that they bring into USDM, as well as their success based on customer experience, and longevity of the resource at USDM. Please feel free to reach out to me at vfinucan@usdm.com.

Pros

Work/life balance is solid if you can manage your time and do your job Pay is competitive Some colleagues are great to work with

Cons

Majority of good colleagues have left the organization in last couple of years Abusive CEO who isn't afraid to call out and berate employees in front of others. Dysfunction has spread across organization from the top down What made the company reputable and special were the ex employees who left because of the CEO's lack of leadership and abuse. Vague commission structure and unclear payouts Unclear responsibilities across the board leads to day-to-day confusion
