Pros

No pros that I can speak of

Cons

First day at employment, let you wait for an hour until they come to meet with you in the client site. Management is very poor. They will let you sit the first week there with no training, no personal laptop, and no clue what to do. They appreciate Indian employee ONLY. They don't care for you if you're other nationality. I witnessed a lazy Indian employee that would not get the job done whatsoever, and did not get punished for that. The process of new employee joining UST is the worst. The I9 system is crappy.

Thank you for your feedback as it helps us to evaluate our processes and make changes in order to create a collaborative and transparent workplace. I am disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. We had changed our I-9 process from paper forms to online based on employee feedback. Since the change, we have been receiving great feedback on the ease of accessing the form and signing off especially from those who do not work from UST Global offices. UST Global operates out of 22+ countries and what brings the employees from across the world work together in harmony is the core values of Humanity, Humility and integrity. In our late Chairman’s words ‘We are all equal; we do different jobs’, are the essence of how our culture has evolved.

Pros

Great ideas and talented people to work with are the biggest Pros. Company is consciously investing in digital platforms both homegrown and co-developed and is well positioned with market leaders and Fortune 500 clients. Company provides employees the freedom to work on cutting edge platforms and provides great access to academic as well a technology partnerships. The best part is that all of this is tried and tested with existing F500 clients. Company is also investing in technology as well as domain center of excellence across different geographies that provides great opportunities for employees to be part of the latest and greatest in the field of technology.

Cons

To carryout the vision, the company needs to invest more in getting the right talent in the right areas. There should more structured training in the emerging technology fields to bring up the current talent.

Pros

They have employee training and verticals for ongoing development. They have their hands in many areas of the IT business.

Cons

This company is more interested in importing its Indian affiliates to the USA Business than incorporating more American employment practices in this country. There is no formal mid-management structures and they manage by nepotism. There is too much favoritism. Clients should ALWAYS be concerned about ethical and legal concerns of its contractors. They set up a dummy training company called Mentor-Global to obtain training contracts and bring Indians to the US. Training at Mentor-Global is horrible.
