Pros

It has good Benefits - but they keep going up year after year

Cons

At the location i was at i felt belittled the last year I was there with the new management they brought in. I was never given any encourgement or support even with going through personal tragedy. I felt like you are suppose to get the sale no matter what the cost. You are told to be ethical but only if it benefits them. They backstab and talk to other associates about you. They let go of anyone who does not drink the kool-aid. The 5 step selling process is a joke- this is not a dating service. They are serious micromanagers that think they have to be called over every little thing which is fine for some people. If you are 10!!

Pros

Benefits are nice, vacation time is good. Nice to have company service with a company phone that you use daily.

Cons

Stores are short-staffed, Management comes and goes as they please, always pushing us to sell to customers that don't even exist. Workload has been cut to 3 person work-load all on 1 associate. Commissions have decreased, frontline associates who are doing all of the work keep getting slashed in pay, and the hourly is nothing to brag about. The new plans are NOT competitive, even though they brainwash you to believe they are. Remember its called the "Belief" project. Instead of calling in for your ENTITLED PAID SICK days and hearing a response such as, "hope you feel better," you will get the whole 3rd degree on how your absence is negatively affecting the sales flow of the store. Kinda like calling into school when you were in the fourth grade. If you want to feel like you are being treated as a child with orders and expectations like a parent, then I would highly reccommend the job. Other than that, stick with your OWN religion, because in here, you can bet they will push their "cult" on you! So thats pretty much it in a nut-shell. Enjoy!

Pros

The pay and benefits were pretty much on par with other employers. There are some good people there, and the offices are pretty nice.

Cons

--They treat the Dynamic Organization (the DO) like a religion. You are rewarded more for talking about the DO than you are for generating ideas for new business. You're suposed to include the "company language" in everything you do. They even want to know how you are incorporating the DO into your personal life--very creepy. --You never get ANY negative feedback, only when they dump you do they bring up all sorts of little things that you did wrong which are debatable and never told to you at the time. --They randomly "eliminate" positions and will call you on the phone to tell you that your services are no longer needed. --They claim diversity as a "value," but in the corporate office, there are VERY few nonwhites. This is pretty striking for a company based in a large city (Chicago). --People are let go for no apparent reason. You will be in a meeting with someone one day and the next, you will see an "organizational announcement" that the person is gone. --They control your LinkedIn. You are not allowed to endorse the work of someone on LinkedIn or if they have left the company (even if on good terms). You are also not allowed to be a reference for someone who is no longer with the company (even if they just left on good terms or were let go because the position was eliminated). Overall, it was a HORRIBLE place to work and one of the worst experiences of my life. Stay as far away as possible.
