Pros

Maybe if they cut their losses and sold out. Pay scale is alright but you have to pay to keep your employees selling terrible service.

Cons

Absolute joke. I feel bad for the customers that have to use their terrible service. Pay as much as Verizon but get a 1/4 the service and technology.

Pros

Your in-store is your best asset. Benefit package is outstanding.....for retail. Air-conditioning (well..)

Cons

Life work balance sucks. It feels like you shoulder all the responsibility in the organization. Long days are often, and sometimes without a break. Stores seem to always be understaffed. You almost never get a weekend off.

Pros

In mid-2000's this company was employee-focused, customer-focused and an incredible place to work. Then-CEO Jack Rooney believed in the Dynamic Organization and created a brand that was reliable, relatable and different. Benefits are good, and although pay is not nearly as good as it used to be, it is a great stepping stone and learning environment for new sales associates. Training and support are excellent.

Cons

US Cellular is no longer a Dynamic Organization. It is in line, or even behind, it's competitors in terms of pricing and understanding customers. Sales employees project an air of unhappiness and wait times can be horrendous in-store, sometimes across entire markets. Employee compensation has steadily declined over the past 8 years, resulting in lower income and more work. Leadership has had to reverse it's "employees first" stance to project the new business model of "company first."
