Pros

USCC possesses such a uniqe culture that foster open communication and respect for associates. I have worked in many different fortune 500-1000 companies in my 12 year career and USCC ranks at the very top of that experience. My current Line of Business leadership team is fantastic to work for. They hold a very high standard and accountability yet able to make the human connection to ensure I feel rewarded and fullfilled at every step of my development.

Cons

IMO: The downside is the sector that USCC competes in. The wireles industry is so competitive that it becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate yourself against other wireless carriers. At the moment, USCC is the 6th largest wireless company (subscriber base) and categorized as a super-regional carrier. Although nation-wide in coverage, we have brick and mortar in only 26 states. Brand recognition is very strong in certain parts of country but yet weak in others.

Pros

The best place to gain experience doing a number of things if you are prepared to open up your life and "drink the koolaid". Pretty good benefits and as a rep if you show up and handle the calls like you care then you will be successful.

Cons

downside is company making some major changes and they need to listen to their sales people on the front line. Stop treating your middle managers, coaches like they are dispensable. Once you move from being a rep you are not allowed to make a mistake.
