Pros

Loved helping my patients, just wished we would work together as a tam

Cons

LOTS of cons! I have never been so demoralized and degraded as working for this one doctor. She brought in the grants - I saw most of the patients...and what made matters worse- she never checked my quota of reviews according to AMA rules. She gave me great reviews until I complained of her yelling mouth of obscenities to all our team members, and then she started saying that she was worried that I could be killing her patients...when I tried to talk to admin it was basically be quiet and shut up. I loved my patients - it was so hard to leave. But verbal abuse is a lot at this place....I thought that went out in the 1900s!

Pros

Houston has many opportunities, it is a growing city with booming economy.

Cons

The pay are average and students are too many here, so the altitudes of some staff are not so kind as they are squeezed by the amount of workload. Dont confuse UTHealth Houston with MD Anderson nearby.
