      Can choose what you like to do in the hospital, really learned a lot. Have patient contact in inpatient unit.

      Orientation takes a long process until truly start volunteering

      Work-life balance is good, pay is competitive. Health benefits are fantastic, especially for families with young kids.

      Cons

      Very bureaucratic, difficult to get resources to do anything. Hiring freeze cripples some departments from being truly innovative.
