Pros

Can usually pick your hours, good pay, remote (during covid peaks), overtime and holiday pay

Cons

Seasonal (which is good and bad for some), not the most competent supervisors, no promotions, the in person building is a little unsanitary, have to sit at a different desk before and after lunch

Hello! Thanks for submitting your feedback. We are glad to hear about your positive experience with Uncommon Goods. We do understand that the seasonal work may not be best suited for everyone but we look to offer the opportunity for those interested to learn and gain experience from their time with us. While the mobility is limited from a seasonal team member standpoint, there are opportunities to get promoted within a season such as from a representative to a lead or to move on to a year round team member. This doesn't occur very often but we do look to provide these opportunities. We are sorry to hear you didn't have the best time with the supervisors and found the building unfit. Our CS team was fully remote this past season and our Facilities team has been working hard to improve and maintain a clean work environment. We were also not staying at one desk previously because of the amount of shift changes occurring and CS team members required on-site. This has changed due to COVID-19 and being able to work from home. If you have further feedback to elaborate on, please reach out to us at hr@uncommongoods.com and we thank you for your effort and work with us.
