Pros

Great employee discount, fun place to work at, friendly co-workers and interesting customer base. The music was always up-to-date which made working there a lot of fun.

Cons

Holiday season means trying to earn more hours, zones were not always easy to stay in with customers asking a lot of questions.

Pros

Good benefits, growth company, entrepreneurial, moral boosting events with athletes, healthy choices available with on-site gym and cafe. Since the company is growing you may be first to author a new process or even make your mark in the company's history. Overall the basic corporate culture encourages employees to work and play hard.

Cons

Although the culture is positive at a corporate level the support to the individual at the department level isn't strong while expectations still remain high. Little is done by management or HR to map career paths. High potentials slip through the cracks and careers plateau. The best way to survive is to "find a way" to get the job done while keeping your head down. Ideas not thought through from top ranks turn into fire drills which can derail other reasonable projects. Also, the culture is young and sports oriented which is reminiscent of the popular kids and fraternity days.

Male dominated executive team - and bully behavior

Pros

The products and branding are typically quality

Cons

I think women should boycott this company. The executive team is male-dominated and honestly I observed and have heard multiple companies working with UA talk of "bully-like" behavior from many of the UA executives. Buy Nike. Unlike UA, they treat their OEM partners, employees, and privately held companies with respect.
