      Pros

      Coming from a non-sales background, the training and support is great. Being able to learn about sales with integrity and still have success was important to me. Simple process to follow and new technology to make the position easier. Tremendous bonus structure - you can really write your own check with a protected territory!

      Cons

      Lower starting base pay, but the bonus structure made up for it. A good deal of training in the first month that I had to revisit as I obtained more experience in the field.

      Route supervisor?

      Pros

      Good atmosphere with all the drivers. Most guys happy to explain and teach.

      Cons

      I wasn't asked a single question in my interview. It was just one of the managers telling me about the job. It was almost as if he was trying to sell me the job. I belive supplemental would be a better title than supervisor because the roll is fill in where needed.

      Pros

      Constant improvement and investment is going into this company while keeping a local, family-culture per location. UniFirst offers so many opportunities to learn and grow as a professional with constant and clear upward mobility. With the economy constantly changing, it is reassuring to work for a large, successful company who will always put their employees first.

      Cons

      Selling a service is challenging, but very rewarding. There is a lot of competitors in the industry.
