Pros

Unifirst has been very good to me over the years. This is truly a company were you can go anywhere in if you are willing to work hard and dont settle for the average. They love to pay there sales rep for all there work and have one of the best training programs in the industry or for that matter any industry that involves sales.

Cons

This is a highly HUNTER sales position and focused company.

Pros

UniFirst is a great place to work if you are tired of politics and worried about whether or not you'll get recognized and promoted based on who you know and associate with. With this company you get out of it exactly what you put in to it. Recognition and rewards are given to those that work hard and get results for that hard work. It isn't easy or laid back, but I personally wouldn't change it. Benefits are on par with other large corporations.

Cons

Because it is challenging, the Outside Sales Rep position is something that has a lot of turnover (not just at UniFirst) in this industry due to it being considered one of the most challenging sales jobs out there. If you are looking to move up quickly with a company, be open to relocating since the tenure is long and higher level positions in the same market or location don't come along often.

Pros

Well established company with years of consistent growth. The training program is among the best, training team is superb. Great on your resume for future employment.

Cons

The pay is not considered by market and if you are on East Coast, good luck getting by. Impossible to attract talent because of it and if you do attract them, they will leave when someone else offers them more money. Managers are grossly underpaid and are not given the freedom to excel unless it's only by using proven failed UniFirst metrics and processes.
