Pros

Administration is outstanding. They do not micro manage, but at the same time run a tight ship. They respect the fact that teachers should know how to do their, jobs and hire accordingly. Dr. Jonathan Tyson Is a fantastic addition to the school.

Cons

The county office has no idea what any of the actual concerns are in the schools and instead focus on education buzz words and other "time wasting programs" that they spent money on and feel obligated to push on school for no other reason than justification of a previous bad decision. Teachers are forced to sit through multi hour training sessions regularly. We are taught common sense material such as "If one teaching strategies fails you, Try another" and so on. Abstinence is the only form of sex education which is archaic. There is a bible studies class some how?????? Only a bible studies class. No other religion or world religions are taught. Opportunities is rated low due to state legislation on tenure, removal of all pay steps and removal of masters pay incentives.
