Pros

Lots of overtime which allows you to boost your income. Friendly staff which helps pass the time of long hours monotonous tasks.

Cons

Most people who join unipres do through an agency called pinpoint. They tell you to work more than 48 hours a week and try and force you to work 7 days a week,if you don't they won't offer you a permanent contract. There are agency staff who have been working for more that 2 year's who haven't had a contract. The company abuses the temporary workers regulations. Once they do give you a contract it's only 6 month fixed term contract. Zero promotional opportunities Rubbish basic pay rate.

Pros

Unlimited overtime (not always optional), bank holidays are always off (days taken from your yearly allowance) some decent lads work there

Cons

Repetitive dull work, depending where you work it can be back breaking with little sympathy, pay is not good for when you compare the work done to what you get paid, overtime is highly pressured if not forced at times, threat of sack is constant, no gratitude or praise for hard work, constant blanket punishment for one persons errors, place is rife with boot lickers and grassers. Factory is run down to hell, out dated machinery that forever breaks down but your still expected to produce perfect parts from. Don’t go in there expecting a contract unless your willing to work 6-7 days a week doing 10-12 shifts for around 2 years without a sick day off and constant brown nosing the right supervisors, I could go on but that would ruin all the surprises this place holds
