      LOW WAGES FOR WOMEN

      Pros

      With so many projects going on internally, and management changing "strategies" every 6 months, you are also busy ( mainly reinventing the wheel)

      Cons

      No equal pay for women doing the same or more work as males Old Boys Network- Golf and cigars Males receive the "fringe benefits"- virtual, phone, travel- the females do not

      Pros

      Great customers/client base; Great roots and history; Great systems, both legacy (OS2200 and MCP-based) and modern (mainframe class servers); Reasonable pay;

      Cons

      Although the history of the company is great, and the computer systems (hardware as well as their proprietary operating systems) are awesome (where else can you run with a customer up without rebooting for several years on a modern system?), the company suffers greatly from multiple things: Mismanaged finances/priorities cause stock prices to yoyo but mostly head downward. Freezes on raises for the past few years (for those lucky enough to survive the layoffs). I've been here 13 years now, and for the most part it's been good... for ME... but I've seen some wonderful people set adrift as soon as the money got tight.

      worked with very professional individuals who were very supportive. Immediate managers were upfront and had your back. learned a number or products and skills

      Cons

      there was a constant cloud of layoffs.
