Flexible working environment. Work from option. Fixed pay and office at center of the city.(RichMond) circle.

Cons

No on-site opportunites. Technologies used in some of the projects are legacy.

Pros

Come and go as you please. You can write whatever you want since code quality is not a priority. Lots of meetings if you want to zone out. Free crappy coffee and the cubes have pretty high walls. Easy to collect a paycheck and bounce.

Cons

Lots of the tools are over 20 years old and proprietary. The process and testing is awful for a company that sells a security product to the government. Lots of managers and bureaucracy. Most of the workforce is getting close to retirement and are bitter due to the pattern of failure/downsizing in the last 20 years. There is very little interest in code...poor culture for programmers. Not the place to learn about cutting edge technology.
