      Not a Bad Job, but not a Lifelong One

      Pros

      - Bonus plans were pretty solid - Good group of people you work with - Industry is solid and safe, especially if you work in a branch that is in a growing area

      Cons

      - Base pay was kind of low, you could make decent money in role but prepare to work a lot of overtime - Growth is a little tough, not a lot of moving up unless you want to move - Inside Sales Rep role was kind of boring, have you do meaningless projects - It is a customer service type of role, so prepare for complaints and people angry at you

      Good benefits but hourly pay was below average.

      Cons

      They discouraged using sick pay when you were sick. Retaliation for taking earned time off when not convenient for them.

      No promotions for women

      Decent money. Big company. They give you a yearly allowance to buy united rentals clothes.

      Cons

      Good old boys club. Shady upper management. No promotions for women unless there’s potential with one of the regional or above to be with you.
