Pros

Most of the managers I've had have truly had my best interests at heart. They take my opinion seriously and I have a direct impact with the work that I do.

Cons

I am underpaid in my field, and due to internal promotion I only get bare minimum increases, even though my manager tells the group I perform at four levels above. I'm still paid at just above entry level after four years of service.

Pros

Stability is there for the most part, some flexibility to work from home. Large enterprise, can try to move within the company. Good place for short term (1-3) years but avoid stagnation and leave after that.

Cons

Terrible employee retention policy. Pay raises are very low <2-3% even for Top performers with 5-6 bonus that is a joke. Anyone below grade 29 is treated as totally dispensable. Work is decent. Not a risk taking culture at all. Open feedback is not part of their philosophy. The HR DEPT is primarily the company CYA dept.
