Thank you for your perspective. I'm sorry you feel UnitedHealth Group is racist towards applicants. We do hire a diverse group of people which has led to the success of the organization. Being a company that values diversity means we consider the top talent regardless of not only race, but also age, gender, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, covered veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression. If you continue to feel there are issues, I encourage you to reach out to HRDirect at 1-800-561-0861 from 7 AM to 7PM CT Monday to Friday. Sincerely, Amber Smith, Talent Community Manager, UnitedHealth Group

Pros

I can't think of anything

Cons

RUN. This place is a joke if you are trying to grow content experience or even management experience. DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT work for Lewin as a level 27 (RC) if you have had experience working elsewhere first. They lump you into levels based on your education and work experience. If you have anything less than 3 years of work experience and a masters then they will put you in with the level 27s (most of whom are all fresh and bright eyed out of grad school with NO/minimal work experience). You will be treated like a secretary for the most part. You won't learn anything since most of their work is technical assistance and scheduling/writing meeting notes. If you don't want to do much with your potential then sure...work for them. Everyone looks miserable here all of the time. I left as soon as I could. Promotions are not based on merit but on whether or not your manager likes you. Also if you don't have a car, the commute from DC to VA is HORRIBLE and they are not flexible with you working remotely.

Pros

Training is very thorough and the pay is on par with industry standard.

Cons

This company over hires then fires right after training. This happened to myself and a large number of other colleagues in the past month. Many of us left secure jobs for this opportunity just to be let go right after training. Now they are hiring again and none of the laid off personnel were notified of the openings . I feel it is my duty for warn anyone who is considering leaving a job to come here. If you are unemployed, then you do not have much to lose by taking the opportunity, but if you already have a job, DO NOT leave to come here. Very unethical.
