Pros

Great exposure to complex workflows and demanding, client facing work. The work is remote, which can arguably be seen as a positive. If treated as a stepping stone role or position, an associate's time here can be fruitful and lead to excellent opportunities down the line.

Cons

The organization leaves too much to be desired. Senior management is detached from the feedback shared by the staff; there seems to be a lack of concrete direction for the whole organization; and Managing Directors and above will openly state that "the organization pays below market rate, but staff should know that and be comfortable with that fact." Large initiatives are started and abandoned in the course of months, while senior leadership struggles sharing cohesive messages within the organization. In the time I spent there, I witnessed several massive shifts in senior leadership, with some of the most seasoned leaders leaving. There was a revolving door of staff members coming and going, and the same can be said of the senior leadership, which is often a deeply troubling sign. There was also a decided lack of clarity in roles. Often, multiple individuals would share the same responsibilities, while at other times, no one would have exact clarity who was responsible for other tasks. Senior leadership valued associates' likelihood of retention over skill-set such that individuals who were less-than-able to perform would be seen as assets, while capable, skilled team members would be over-looked during end of year review. Finally, the client management team would not take into account the feedback of the front line staff, thus over-promising and often under-delivering to the clients, leading to pain-points and frustration both within and without the organization.
