location, location, small office, free snacks

Cons

very poor leadership, they fire people as fast as they hire them & unattainable plans for sales reps. They work sales reps into the ground and are all about metrics and not quality of deals. They book deals that are not real deals to pad their numbers. NO HR Dept at all. DO NOT APPLY HERE

Strange way to run a company! Stay away!

Pros

You get a paycheck, and it doesn't bounce! I get to work from home a couple of days a week, and can take PTO to interview for other opportunities.

Cons

The company culture has changed dramatically. I don't even know what the vision statement is anymore. If I had to guess, it must be 'burn it down!', because that's what's happening. New management came in and walked the most experienced, talented people out the door. Heck, an entire team was pushed out!

I get to work on an exceptional product, with a team of insanely talented developers. Upper management in Columbia Engineering does its best to keep us informed of changes and to make us feel appreciated.

Cons

The open floor environment in engineering is not good. It's loud and distracting. I understand there's a plan to move locations in the summer of '16. I hope this is taken into consideration at our new location.
