      Pros

      The company has some good things going for them and they are putting the effort in to stay ahead of the trends. You have the ability to make good money.

      Cons

      Talk about hating to wake up everyday to go to work!! I knew from my first day of employment this was going to be a horrible experience. Here are a few things that I didn't like about the position / company. - Managers might say they don't micro manage but your time and tasks are 100% micro managed. - If you get excited about receiving emails this is the place for you, your manager will send one out every 5 minutes. (It will include a creepy wink eye and of course every email is marked as urgent) - You are assigned a territory of current customers to call on to grow the account, well you end up calling all these customers 1-2 times a week. - High pressure sales tactics. - Wait until you find out the unique "algorithm" the manager uses to determine average, it's mind blowing!!

      Pros

      We have a good culture and Management is working hard to maintain it even as we grow and change. I've been with Unitrends for over 3 years and there are a few key things that keep me working here. * Product sells and we are growing consistently. This is the biggie! * Management never changes comp plans in the middle of the year. They encourage us to make more money * They give people the opportunity to grow in career. They invest in training as well. * They listen to us when we have concerns to share * They support reps as they build their business instead of being quick to lay off * There are added incentives such as quarterly Spiffs which encourage healthy competition and team building

      Cons

      * Product management sometimes makes decisions to change things without consulting with sales or doing proper due diligence * HR support could improve a bit but I know they are constantly working on it.

      Pros

      Fast paced and challenging. Never bored, never a dull moment. It's fun working with some of the most talented developers on the planet. Time off accrues faster than I can take it. Plenty of holidays, flexible hours, excellent compensation. Great group of folks to work with.

      Cons

      Sometimes work/life balance can be difficult. No matching 401K program.
