Pros

Good team approach to patient care. Though they are concerned with the bottom line as all companies are these days, they strive to satisfy patients and employees. Pay is reasonable for the region and OK benefit package. Continuous improvement initiatives are making a positive impact and employee involvement with management allows general progress. Management team is approachable.

Cons

Behind on technology and need to update; especially in IT area. Some equipment is worn and needs updating. Healthcare benefit is expensive and weak with regard to coverage and deductables.

Pros

It's a small and close knit department, the people were great Snacks tend to be available quite a bit The varied type of work, exposure and experience is top notch...However, you have to ask for it

Cons

No full time opportunities The new leadership in the C-suite was still getting adjusted, and much change was taking place Not all of the hospitals were on board with the changes

Pros

Everything!! The benefits are amazing, the higher managment listens to employees. I worked for home health and could not have asked for a better team enviroment. If you are patient orientated and love to take care of people than this is the best place to work. They give their nurses the equipment and personal support needed to provide the best enviroment and patient outcome. If someone does not like working here than they are out of their mind. I have worked for different home care companies and IHHC is by far the BEST!!!!!

Cons

Sometimes nurses were asked to see more patients than possible in one day. But other days were slower so it all evened out.
