      Constant state of dysfunction

      Pros

      Most of the Buyers are very hardworking. Schedule flexibility and ability to work remotely within reason, New Manager is making an honest effort to improve department.

      Cons

      Not a team oriented atmosphere at all. Supervisors act as though they are above rolling up their sleeves during times of crisis. You’re expected to do your job and others. Buyers held to higher standard than any other department. Lots of unnecessary work. Pay is not competitive. Benefits aren’t comparable. If you leave the company before 3 years, you will not get the vested balance of your 401k. Also they will not tell you that your 401k will not be paid out until a week after your final paycheck which can be up to 3 weeks after your separation.

      Customers are awesome, will miss them the most!

      Cons

      Mgmt turn over ridiculous, blind leading blind, raises?? What raises, cant tell you got one! After 10 years, can definatley say wasted a lot of time there. No appreciation at all !! Way too many cheifs! No room for advancement, they say there is, will listen to your wants & needs to learn & grow & then just ignore you. Held down to your position. No severence pay after 10 years? Really!

      Pros

      Great company to work for if you're worried about trips, slips, and falls. The company is excellent on advocating safety in the work place.

      Cons

      Too many Chiefs who are "title driven" as oppose to keeping the customer first, and not enough Indians. If you're not in management, they will treat you as such. They need to either re-train them or do a clean sweep and start over.
