Manganent plays to much favorites too much politics. Make 3 minor mistakes and they will let you go. Very very strict.

family health insurance very expensive for a fortune 500 company,low pay raises company keeps their 401 matching contributions till the end or the year to decrease employee turnover, have to work over 40 hours in 4 days to receive overtime pay when there a holiday or vacation in the week, took away profit sharing and safety bonus

Pros

Univar offers a 401K, a good salary, and a safe work environment for employees. The chemical industry is a solid industry.

Cons

I've found there is limited room for growth in some departments, and ever since the new CEO took over, they macro manage everything. We even have to back our cars into our parking spaces. In addition, Univar rarely sets up events to build employee morale and recognize employees for their hard work. Office is also similar to high school (gossip, harassment, cliches, etc.) and upper management disregards it.
