Pros

Knowledgeable colleagues and can learn quite a bit. Diversity & Inclusion initiatives starting to grow. Moving toward a more global view of the company which offers opportunities to increase knowledge and efficiencies. Investing in digital for the future.

Cons

-Too many balls in the air. Every area pursuing constant changes so business never gets the opportunity to work at gaining efficiencies. -50% market pay explained away with ‘this is a distribution company.’ 3% raises when company is performing at record levels but no raise when it wasn’t. People leaving for better pay and replacing them means paying the next person more. So why would anyone want to work in distribution and how can we retain talent?

Pros

There are a few good people or teammates. Since I have to give pros, they have a nice coffee machine on the 5th floor.

Cons

There is no structure. Office politics are strong. No formal training or training department. There is little to no career progression.
