      Pros

      IT is given the latest and greatest tools. Training and knowledge transfer within the team is paramount. The management staff is always available for questions, concerns or suggestions. Job security. Benefits are ok. They embrace the latest technologies. Travel to remote locations within the US. Large IT staff if you include all of the facility staff.

      Cons

      Heavy workload and somewhat understaffed at corp. Room for advancement. Salary level below baseline for position, but I knew this going in.

      The industry is booming even as the economy is not. There's always a certain level of job security when the demand for the type of healthcare services you provide is only going to continue to grow.

      Cons

      Divisional and Corporate department heads come in to make changes even if the current system you are using is successful.
