Pros

There were none at all

Cons

Unprofessional, zero qualified trainers or a training department. Zero morale, employee engagement, team building, etc. meetings with your own team were extremely uncomfortable and cold, let alone the whole department where they just pretended things were rah rah sis boom ba. A complete joke. In my 25+ years in healthcare I have never seen such miserable, uncaring, heartless and boring individuals. The turnover rate is a huge red flag as well as the 3-4 months of nonstop requests from HR before you even start! While the pay was fairly reasonable at the time, the mental anguish far outweighed and was not worth even twice what I was being paid. A very toxic culture and environment.

Pros

Coworkers, Coffee Machine, Health Benefits

Cons

I worked as a Compliance Administrator at UHS, and my experience was disappointing from start to finish. The CEO felt completely disconnected from day-to-day operations and employees. The salary was below market rate, especially considering the amount of work I was expected to take on. My direct manager was unprofessional and consistently crossed boundaries—asking me to complete tasks far outside my role and even calling me after hours for non-urgent requests like updating colors on PowerPoint slides. When someone in a higher-level position left, I took over many of their responsibilities without any recognition or increase in compensation. When I expressed interest in officially moving into the vacant role, I was told I wouldn’t be considered. I ultimately resigned—and it was the best decision I ever made.
