Here, it is a Zero Sum game between Senior executives and between the rest of us. The goal of Sr. Management is to conserve each other at the expense of their direct reports. They have no accountability when quarterly or yearly benchmarks are not met, but instead trim the fat and dismiss people. There has been in my short time here, no one who is safe from this cowardly practice; My boss is a "Seagull" (swoops in, squawks, and drops unpleasant things on people). Most of Senior management lack the skills, tact and the talent to be effective leaders. They do know how to inspire their team to work from a vision or goal and only inspire the fear of losing one’s job if you don’t comply with their every wish. Challenging the status quo is not a respected virtue here. Everything is summed with the title of this review. Work here at your own peril.
