Great products - poor senior management

Pros

Salary is ok Great SW developers

Cons

3 R&D VPs in short time - the current is an extremely bad communicator - my 7 year old has better English and communication skills. It is embarrassing! Management knowledge about good agile SW execution is very limited - and destroying what could have been a well oiled agile delivery organization - a shame and people are leaving the company in masses.

Universal Robots is committed to maintaining our strategic software advantage in the collaborative robot marketplace. In the last eighteen months, we have made significant investments in the infrastructure, resources and tools to support a growing and developing Agile-focused Software organization. These measures were adding to staff headcount (including Scrum Master and Technical Lead positions), upskilling our existing software developers with learning and project collaboration opportunities, and creating stronger infrastructure and processes. We are proud that this investment has resulted in a stronger retention rate than the industry average, and we continue to search for ways to invest and improve. We are sorry that our efforts have not met your expectations, and we would invite you to reach out to your manager or HR business partner at any time with constructive feedback. Through the ongoing exchange of ideas and inputs from all our colleagues, we can demonstrate our values of Courage, Passion, Innovation and Integrity to the people whose lives we impact: one robot at a time.

Dear colleague Thanks for taking the time to write some feedback for us - it's always appreciated! Even though we were sad to read this review. One of the things we are truly proud of at Universal Robots is empowering our employees. We have a lot of examples of colleagues being promoted or trying out different aspects of their field of work. One of the things we have launched this year is our 2.0 career paths, which should make the promotion process more visible. If you are ever in doubt on what it takes to get promoted please reach out to your manager and/or your HR Business partner. Thanks for your management advice. It is certainly something we aim for both in HR and in the management team - but we will try being even better at it going forward. Always feel welcome to come by HR and share your thoughts, concerns and suggestions for solutions. Best regards, HR

Dear colleague We were very sorry to read this review. One of the things we are truly proud of at Universal Robots is empowering our employees. We have a lot of examples of colleagues being promoted and/or trying out different aspects of their field of work if they have a passion to do so. If you are in any way experiencing favoritism/racism and cannot discuss this with your manager please contact your local HR Business Partner or any other colleague in the HR team. This is a very serious matter and we have zero tolerance of favoritism/racism at UR. One final reply on you comment on disposing employees. It’s one of our primary strategic focus points to keep our high retention rates. We are making a lot of efforts continuously on this matter and all our employees are invited to propose ideas. We believe our employees are our greatest strength at Universal Robots. Kind regards, The HR team
