Pros

Cantine food, cantine food, food.

Cons

No culture of quality. no commitment to continuous improvement from management. no training plan. very shallow on boarding. company is not yet ready for setting up a supply chain quality management system thus there is no need for supplier quality management. Very shallow communication among the departments. Very shallow know how on tools used throughout the organization. Very vulnerable product quality management system. Not a multiculturally-multinationally ready environment. Very shallow engineering know how. Immature engineering documentations and still the supply base is intended to be shifted to APAC while the PQM is not yet supported sufficiently by engineering documentations and contracts. The product is over-marketed within and outside the company for what it actually is.

Thank you for taking time to provide your inputs. One of our four core values is innovation, and we have been and will continue to be focused on continually improving our product, our processes and our colleague experiences. In a rapidly evolving and competitive environment we strive to balance agility, which allows us to be disruptive and move fast, with the structured process standards and defined system infrastructure you outlined as our gaps. We continue to make investments that address many of the items you outlined such as tools that support and improve collaboration within and between teams, investments in on boarding and colleague development and evaluating and improving our quality standards. I am sorry to hear that our efforts have not kept pace with your expectations. If you would like to share more details about your experiences and ways we can continue to improve, please contact our Vice President of HR , Anette Dahl Christensen (adc@universal-robots.com).

Pros

The collaborative robotics space is growing at over 50% CAGR - the most exciting field in Automation these days. UR leads this field and it's exciting to be a part of such massive growth, year on year.

Cons

Like any fast growing company, it comes with it's share of bumps and bruises - only to be expected.

Thanks for your feedback. I think this is some great insights for future colleagues to have on how it is to be part of the UR family. And great advice that we have to remember for management to maintain a close connection with the employees even as we grow bigger.
