Pros

great place to gain clinical experience and knowledge. A level 1 trauma center is the best. It also has a large emphasis on teaching.

Cons

managers do not communicate well with each other or take employee concerns seriously. they ask you to let them know if you have any concerns and act like your best friend, it is best to keep quiet no matter what if you want to keep your job

Largest medical center in San Antonio with new facility and nice ambiance within new facility.

Cons

Rules are not used to make things better. Rules seem to be used only to benefit those in power. Leadership seems to be inconsistant and HR seems to support only the VPs or what they want. We have a nice facility, but our EMR never seemed to work correctly. It was unavailable more than I'd ever seen at a hospital. Some of the IT people seemed to make excuses that did not make sense.
