Fun Place, Yet Many Problems

Pros

The clear-cut pro is that you are working in the sports industry, dealing with sports every day. This is why the majority of us all came to work for Upper Deck. It is a fun environment and the people are very fun and out-going

Cons

The pay is definitely sub-standard which I believe is a huge detriment because as soon as somebody gets a better offer at a different company they bolt and Upper Deck does nothing to try to keep them there because they refuse to pay their employees equal wages. This leads to a very high turn-around rate and loss of job knowledge because one of the other big problems is there is absolutely no procedural or training documents for any of the jobs. So once someone leaves, all of the knowledge leaves with that person. Communication is also very poor as there seemed to be little to no communication from the top-down. Most of these cons seem to fall squarely on the shoulders of the CEO who set the precedent for this type of environment.
