After 26 years I was unceremoniously shown the door. No reason given, Just a cold three minute teams call and that was it. My 26 year career at the same stations was over. I was (and still am) at the height of my game. Strong skills. Lots to offer. U1's careers page it states: "We are our employees’ biggest fans, and it is our daily mission to attract, develop, and retain the brightest stars in the business." That certainly was not my experience. Like I said before, I was working at the highest level, turning out solid production. But "retain" was not part of their "daily mission", nor was any explanation why. I loved my job. It wasn't a job or a career, it was who I am. I loved the coworkers I've known over many years. We were family.

Poor pay, toxic environment, more about politics, than doing/knowing your job. Benefits package is non-existent, health insurance is bottom of the barrel, HR department is even worse. Won't survive that much longer.
