Pros

Always meeting new people, always something different everyday, felt like a mini-celebrity. Co-workers were great, creative, out-going people.

Cons

Pay was horrible; management was short-sighted, refusal to try something new and flat out incompetent. You have to be family, a friend, or a serious ass-kisser to get ahead at this company.

Meet a lot of people who can help you get out of the part time positions.schedule is pretty flexible. you gain a lot of experience because you do work heavy hours in the warmer seasons. job enables you to network a lot.

Cons

Financially unstable. Hours are very unstable. there are heavy seasons and light seasons. You MUST have a second job if you live on your own. The pay is bad and the labor is a lot compared to the amount you get paid. hours are random. you never know the exact days or times. youre scheduled as events roll in so planning your outside life can be difficult.

Good team/family atmosphere. Anything is possible attitudes from most sales staff. No two days are alike.

Cons

Wishy-washy management. Good ol' boy network. Poor hiring decisions. Lack of female leadership; no women in sales management; no minority women in over 7 years.
