Pros

Office parties are good... free popcorn.

Cons

No career planning, cannot choose skills and areas you wish to learn - it's dictated from above. No flexibility on hours worked. TSP does not work in this environment, more people complain about it than embrace it. CIO really is not in tune with the IT team.

Pros

Consultants are nice and knowledgeable. There is a comraderie among the staff which can make this a fun place to work.

Cons

Pay increases minimal to non-existent as growth became priority over people. Definite favortism shown to certain employees that is not grounded in performance.

Company has relatively decent benefits.

Cons

Management is toxic. The culture of all managers is micro managing your direct reports. Management is also favored more than non managers.
