Pros

Can't really think of any, I guess good vendor deals with auto companies

Cons

- Typical problems with putting engineers into management - they don't know how to deal with people. - Work is the driest garbage I've ever seen in my life. - Absolutely no collaboration between teams - leads to a quiet workplace that is no fun, plus a real lack of efficiency because of all the work that is repeated instead of done once for all teams. - Constantly dealing with and hearing about negative internal ratings of the company, but nobody seems to know how to fix them.

Pros

1.New remodeled Office 2.Some smart employees 3.Company business is booming during bad and good economies.

Cons

1.Company switched to TSP/PSP software development process which is outdated and is nothing but micro-management. 2.Some employees work hard without any recognition while others play and do nothing but still get recognized because they have close ties to some managers. 3.Back stabbing is happening all the time. Managers hear one side of story only and take action without talking to other parties. 4.Employees get threaten of being let go on their yearly performance review although these employees work really hard. 5.Bonuses and raises are real pathetic. 6.Employees work long hours due to aggressive delivery dates. 7.Expect to loose any experience you have since company switched to using a number of 3rd party software for development. 8. Architecture team make decision without talking to Development. 9. Management team commit to projects without talking to development.

Pros

Nice facilities, company invests in technology, some great co-workers. Reasonable benefits, although increasingly hard to take time off.

Cons

Very poor work life balance - long hours with little to no recognition. This company runs *very lean*, to the point of it being detrimental to employee health. Compensation is below market, especially considering the level of stress. Office politics are extremely unpleasant and vicious. There is open disdain for teams/departments and various individuals, justified or not. Backstabbing is common practice. Company is on a path to failure with decreased profitability. Incredibly low employee morale compounds the troubles.
