Great company -- if you have the right manager!

Pros

Very smart people solving difficult technical problems. People are creative in coming up with great solutions. Some managers are very good.

Cons

Works almost exclusively in automotive industry. Too many ex-GM people. Not enough focus on employing modern technology -- some "solutions" need to be modernized. Poor technical leadership.

Pros

Great people and interesting work. There are international opportunities and different practice areas so one could have a lot of variety if so inclined. They do partial tuition reimbursement and the management is approachable enough that if you have a special request they'll listen and may agree to it.

Cons

The company is controlled by one person who doesn't always think through his broad sweeping decisions. The company headquarters are located in Detroit, Michigan which isn't the most exciting or economically stable area in the country.
