Pros
Rocket engines are exciting, solid engineering and manufacturing staff. Internal folks get a lot of opportunity for growth. IT staff is the best of any company I have worked at. Pleased with the selection of CAD and analysis tools available. As far as design work goes it is relatively straight forward. Engineering groups have some of the best team collaboration I have experienced at an aerospace company.
Cons
Leadership is full of people who should not be running a business. Most are inexperienced former SpaceX engineers with little actual business experience and it shows. One bad decision after another has led to having to downsize the company and in many recent all hands it has become clear they are just throwing things at the wall to try to make money. Relationships with customers have been completely frayed and we have basically abandoned our only viable product (Hadley) making me wonder why we even exist at this point. Culture is completely gone and people are leaving at an alarming rate.
