Do not plan on promotion unless you belong to the Mormon religion. Especially in the line and signal Dept.

Benefits. Wish I could think of more pros.

Cons

I still have friends that work here in the line and signal Dept. If you are not Mormon do not ever plan on being promoted. The last six supervisors appointed were all active Mormons even though there were more qualified and experienced people who applied.

Great benefits, job security, and ride the transit for free for employee and family members

Cons

I have worked here 7 years and have tried for 4 yrs to get an office position for what I started out as doing, before getting into the position I am in now, and I keep getting rejected. I feel UTA does not offer the best incentive for internal employees to grow and move on.
