Pros

My team is collaborative and respectful.

Cons

HR is disgustingly slow to respond to urgent or toxic situations. They may say that they care about people and culture. But their slow-ass bureaucratic processes are PROOF that they do not care. If you have a disability, do not even consider working here because HR will not take care of your needs.

Pros

They were responsive to scheduling needs. My colleagues were great people and supportive. The students were great and wanted to learn. I could teach mostly the classes I wanted to and enjoyed.

Cons

My boss kept piling on more and more projects on me. And as a tenure track person without tenure, I kept thinking I had to accept. I worked upwards of 70 hour weeks, often. When I stood up for myself and said I needed comp time off in the future for current over-work, they kept changing the deal. I felt like I worked for Darth Vader. Policies changed for new-hires, but there was no compensation or appreciation for me.
