Pros
- Non-repetitive; there'll be many different things you'll have to do as you work. - Ray is a great manager and is fun to work with (most if not all of the co-workers are chill people). - If you work well there's a high chance of getting a pay increase. (My pay jumped from $17.50 to $21.50 for 3 months on the job) - You get a free main from the Deli during your lunch break. - You get to practice your knife skills and fish-cleaning skills. - Learn a bunch about seafood and the different seasons of the product.
Cons
- Sometimes days are extremely slow... - You will get customers with insane orders (Huge orders or tedious fish prep). - You are working in a seafood department... You will both see and smell nasty things at least once a day. - Cold working environment.
