Pros

Salary, work/life balance. They truly do try to accommodate the employees.

Cons

While they try hard to improve on culture, there is a closeness that is lacking. There is also poor workflow structures and training. Onboarding was well done but training on the role itself was nonexistent. A lot of new employees are left to figure it out themselves.

Upper Management Out of Touch

Pros

Corporate benefits, general job security, managers do want to see you grow and develop professionally and there is company support for career growth opportunities.

Cons

Work life balance is incredibly challenging here, and that puts an incredible burden on the junior staff. Morale seems low, probably due to everyone's workload, and has led to a high turnover rate with employees. It seems that upper management is out of touch with the day-to-day stresses and work done by junior staff.

Growing Consulting Firm

Pros

Hires top talent, good work product, challenging and interesting projects, intellectually stimulating work. Great place to learn concepts if you're a new grad. Excellent benefits. Ability to occasionally work from home.

Cons

Very few women appointed to Principal role and upper management. They seem to invest more in expanding the footprint than upgrading the current offices/facilities. High stress caused by 100% billability requirement which does not foster a very social or enjoyable work environment. Made to feel guilty when using vacation/sick time. Lower level employees experience get burned out because they won't hire more help until they have enough backlog to justify hires. Company culture is too stiff/conservative.
