Very friendly staff, nice managers, reasonable schedule, nurses park on-site

Cons

low pay relative to cost of living in area-most employees have to travel long distances or work multiple jobs. It seems that many nurses come to VHC to get 1-2 years of experience and then leave to a more affordable/better paying area. Poor match of 401k and no match in first year

RNs committed to great care; great doctors; friendly staff; education reimbursement opportunities; self schedule in some areas; pretty nice facility.

Cons

Management: some directors are okay (two in particular are outstanding). Bullying behavior is pervasive, starts at the top, towards middle managers and staff. Staffing: other hospitals have the same problem, but here, no end in sight. Unsafe becoming the norm. Parking: ridiculous.
