Lower wages compared to similar places in the area. Very poor experience with management in my dept- a lot of micro-management, condescending comments, gaslighting, and disorganization regarding patient care. Attempted to resolve with HR but when I arrived to the meeting my supervisor was sitting behind the desk with them…so obviously I didn’t feel supported. Feels very “employees versus management”. The culture of the rehab dept was very toxic- a lot of gossiping, favoritism, generally unprofessional. Management screen-shotted my social media after I called out sick to question what I did that day (it was a mental health day with sever anxiety). Have since moved on to another hospital in the area with quite the opposite experience, thankfully. Another note- I do agree with other reviews about the systemic racism within the hospital structure and the hospital definitely portrays conservative values. Attempted to reach out to the person who responds to these reviews to discuss their “deep concern”…but had no response from them.
