Pros
I can only think of 2: free parking and 100% coverage at the hospital under their insurance plan
Cons
Oh where do I begin... -Managers who are bullies get promoted rather than discipline or being fired -It's all about favoritism there between Assistant Directors and VPs -Managers and HR will find any way possible to fire you for having mental illness such as depression. I watched this happen to at least 2 employees there from behind enemy lines. They will try to blame job performance but I've heard 2 current HR employees say they didn't want "crazy" people working at the hospital and whatever they say goes. -Looking for a competitive salary? You won't find it here unless you're an executive, nurse or physician. Their pay is horrible. -They won't put a dime into rewarding employees who don't work with patients and bring revenue to the hospital. -Very old school. Everything is still paper. You go to new hire orientation and you leave with a bag filled with paper. Very old and wasteful. It's 2016-go electronic. -PTO benefit is a joke. They'll tell you you're going to accrue so much in the year yet that is for everything - vacation, sick and even hospital recognized holidays -Medical benefit premiums are incredibly high for being self-insured and a hospital
