almost no promotions within the company - most hires from outside - great culture has become too diluted. turnover increasing. morale going down across the board. technology innovation stalling - OEMing more technology from other companies. internal sales tools are brittle. most customers have purchased their core technologies - concerns over future lines of revenue too many version 1.0 products - new products do not scale to the levels needed (or expected by customers). Reward risks - Presidents club for sales cancelled after the end of the year and after winners had been announced Sales organization divided into 2 branches (Enterprise and Commercial) causing large amounts of internal conflict due to no formal, enforced rules (customer assignments and sales achievement). No feeling like we're "one team" anymore.

Nothing you do is ever enough. Don't talk about expectations until you find out you haven't met one. Limited confidentiality. Silo mentality. Very little collaboration. Inexperienced management. Grew too fast to put the right expectations/rewards in place. Culture is chaos right now - a mix of everyone's previous companies. Trying to get someone to make a decision that doesn't get remade 20 times is a joke.
