      Pros

      Great people. Great technology. Probably the most intelligent field team I have ever worked with in my career.

      Cons

      Unstable. Lots of change at all levels. Very political. Others will claim your work and give you no credit. Culture of pass the buck in the professional services area.

      Pros

      The Palo Alto campus is great and feels good to be there. The technology is very good and some really smart people to work with. To me the environment looked quite open and many folks were easily approachable

      Cons

      The management is very volatile. Most managers are technical folks and don't have capability to plan a product release or manage people. Smart engineers get the job done somehow. Features get dropped in every release due to poor planning. For experienced engineers it is not a great place. Lot of encouragement given to new college grads and for them it is a good learning experience. Something to note - the company had no new innovation for a long time. Benefits were very moderate compared to other companies in the Valley. Selling their old product (vSphere) will only take them so far.
